The State of the African Diaspora (SOAD) offers citizenship, which includes the issuance of a National Digital Identity Card. This E-ID Card provides various benefits.
It is particularly aimed at members of the African Diaspora, including those whose ancestors were deported and enslaved, as a means to reconnect with their African heritage.
The card enables them to participate in the political process of SOAD, including voting in parliamentary elections. SOAD also plans to issue a National Passport to facilitate free movement within the African Free Trade Area and supports the African Union's initiative to issue an African Union (AU) Passport for the continent.
